The short version
PrivacyMe collects no personal data. None. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. Everything you do in the app stays on your device.
Data stored on your device only
- Your cleanup checklist (which companies you've flagged and their status) is saved as a local file inside the app's own storage.
- A one-time onboarding flag remembers that you've seen the welcome screens.
This information never leaves your device, is not accessible to us or to anyone else, and is deleted when you delete the app.
Network requests the app makes
PrivacyMe ships with its full company catalog built in and works entirely offline. For the best experience it may make two kinds of read-only network requests:
- Catalog updates from Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore), to check for a newer version of the public company catalog.
- Company logos from Google's public favicon service, to display each company's icon.
Like any internet request, these include standard technical information (such as your IP address) that is processed by Google under Google's Privacy Policy. PrivacyMe does not send any personal information with these requests, and we never receive, store, or see any data about you.
Exposure Scan
The optional Exposure Scan feature checks an email address you type against Have I Been Pwned's public database of known data breaches. When you run a scan, that email address is sent directly from your device to Have I Been Pwned and is processed under their privacy policy. PrivacyMe does not store the email address, does not keep the results, and never sends them to us — the scan results live only in the app on your device until you close it.
Deletion request emails
When you use "Send Deletion Request" or "Copy Deletion Request Email", the GDPR/CCPA template is generated entirely on your device and opened in your own mail app or copied to your clipboard. We are not part of that communication.
Children's privacy
PrivacyMe does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children. The app is rated 4+ and contains no objectionable content.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change how the app handles data, we will update this page and the effective date above before the change ships.

应用发出的网络请求
PrivacyMe 内置完整的公司目录，可完全离线使用。为了更好的体验，应用可能发出两类只读网络请求：
- 目录更新：从 Google Firebase（Cloud Firestore）检查是否有更新的公开公司目录。
- 公司图标：从 Google 的公共 favicon 服务加载各公司的图标。

删除请求邮件
当你使用「发送删除请求」或「复制删除请求邮件」时，GDPR/CCPA 模板完全在你的设备上生成， 并在你自己的邮件应用中打开或复制到剪贴板。我们不参与该通信。
儿童隐私
PrivacyMe 不会有意收集任何人（包括儿童）的信息。应用评级为 4+，不包含不良内容。
政策变更
如果应用处理数据的方式发生变化，我们会在变更上线前更新本页面及上方的生效日期。
